Change for the Better Foundation, established in June 2014, is a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. Our mission is to diminish animal hardship in South Africa. We focus on Sterilisation, Education, and Rehabilitation, addressing the root causes of overpopulation and neglect among animals in communities.

 

Our Initiatives:

  1. Sterilisation: We tackle the issue of overpopulation through regular sterilisation campaigns in townships, emphasizing responsible pet ownership.
  2. Education: We conduct extensive educational programs in informal settlements and communities, promoting animal care and welfare.
  3. Rehabilitation: We provide care, shelter, and medical assistance to neglected and abused animals, ensuring their well-being.

 

Challenges and Solutions:

  1. Overpopulation Crisis: Unsterilized animals contribute to overpopulation. We advocate for sterilisation as a solution, preventing the birth of thousands of unwanted animals.
  2. Financial Strain: We rely on public support. Donations, sponsorships, and community involvement are crucial to our efforts.

  2. Volunteer: Join us in our community service initiatives, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
